Act I — The Meeting
November 16, 2024, Rambouillet. A church weekend, a first conversation both gentle and joyful… almost shy. Between curiosity, small cultural differences and sometimes hesitant words, our exchanges came to life, Daniel having been in France for only three weeks. Without knowing it, a first seed was planted. A few weeks later, our first small group became a new chapter. Conversations grew deeper, glances understood each other more. Then came that first coffee, on January 19, 2025, a simple moment, marked by a shared prayer and the beginning of a more personal bond. February unfolded as a series of firsts: an escape room, a pottery class, dinners, first Bible studies and walks through Paris, extended by endless conversations. Simple moments on the surface, but already carrying a growing connection, guided by a shared vision: to live a life centered on Christ.

Act II — Growing
March taught us patience. After several weeks apart — Daniel in Lebanon, Olivia in Lapland — we reunited over a dinner marked by sincere questions and deep challenges: a shared future? Different plans, different countries… Then came Étretat, on April 19: a hike nearly missed, bursts of laughter, long hours of prayer facing the sea and the first shared dreams. The Paul Washer conference, on April 25-26, nourished our faith and strengthened our shared vision. On June 8, we ran our first 10K together, a symbol of the road traveled side by side. And on June 28, during the annual white party of Olivia's friend groups, Daniel joined and led the Bible sharing — a powerful moment that already revealed the central place of faith in our story. July 2025 marked a decisive step: Olivia's first visit to Lebanon. An unforgettable journey where the unknown became an invitation to trust in God. Everything was different. The Middle East, far from Western reference points, became an invitation for Olivia to see the world differently. Between land, sea and mountains, the landscapes seemed to tell a story greater than ourselves. Hikes through the cedars, discovering Daniel's ministry, his church, and the visible traces of a past marked by war… A new language for Olivia, another culture, perspectives that challenge and call for humility. Sometimes hard to imagine the future, but profoundly transforming.

Act III — The Promise
We are back in Lebanon, hearts filled with gratitude for the journey already traveled. In a suspended moment, surrounded by our friends, Daniel proposes. A simple and profound promise, guided by faith and love. This 'yes' is not just an answer, but the beginning of a new chapter — one written together.
